John 3:16 Mission is asking for frozen turkey and canned good donations before November 22. It's goal is to collect 5,000 turkeys to give to families in need.
The charity will be providing Thanksgiving baskets again this year, but it needs your help to make it possible.
Last year, the mission had only collected about 100 turkeys one week before the holiday, so it's trying to spread the word early this year.
John 3:16 will also serve warm meals six days a week during the holiday.

- John 3:16 Mission, 506 N. Cheyenne Ave, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (Mon. - Fri.)
- Family & Youth Center, 2027 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Mon. - Fri.)
- Under the Sun Garden Center, 91st & Sheridan and 51st and Harvard, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Mon. - Sat.) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday
