TULSA, Okla. — John 3:16 Mission needs your help reaching its goal of collecting 5,000 turkeys for it's annual food drive.
The Mission said the number of people in need has changed dramatically this year and they're 4,000 turkeys short.
Some of the turkeys will be given out in Thanksgiving baskets while others will be cooked for the holiday meals next week.
The Mission is accepting donations of frozen turkeys and nonperishable food items.
You can drop off the items at the Mission's house or at Under the Sun Garden Center locations at 51st Street and Harvard Avenue as well as 91st Street and Sheridan Avenue.
