JENKS, Okla. – Summer will start a little earlier this year for students at Jenks Public Schools.
A district spokesperson announced this week that the last day of school has been moved to May 23.
The push forward is due to the lack of snow days utilized this winter season.
The school board is considering this date, and will make a final decision after Spring Break.
