JENKS, Okla. — Jenks Middle School students will remain in distance learning through January 15th, according to Jenks Public Schools.
According to announcement on Facebook, Jenks officials said, "We are profoundly disappointed and frustrated to inform you that gas service to Jenks Middle School has not been restored. With the gas turned off, there is no heat to the building."
Officials said students will not return to school on Jan. 11th and will remain in distance learning until Jan. 19th, when they are scheduled to return.
