JENKS — A Jenks High School student has quite the smile on his face, and has a good reason for it too.

Nathan Stephani, a Junior at Jenks, has scored a perfect 36 on his ACT.

Nathan says towards the end of last year, he took a PSAT/ACT prep class for two and a half weeks at Jenks.

He says this class helped with both the English and Reading sections on the test.

Throughout Summer and Fall, Nathan says he took practice tests with his friends, which helped a lot due to the competitiveness.

One of his best friends is the one that helped him and motivated him to study for it, Nathan says.

You could say this may run in the family as Nathan has two older sisters, one who got a 34 on the ACT, while the other got a 33.

Nathan says he was shooting to be the top of the family.

When it comes to Nathan's younger brother, he says "We will see what he does when he takes it."

The hardest part was staying focused during the Math section which was 60 mins, Nathan says.

For the future Nathan says, "My plan for a while has been to go to medical school and be a doctor, and help people that way."

Nathan is able to continue and carry the torch at Jenks High School, he says, considering there were three student with perfect ACT scores last year and three this year.
