TULSA — Officials with J.C. Penney announced their Promenade Mall location is set to close in the Spring, according to a press release.
JC Penney is one of the last big name stores in the Promenade Mall.
Officials say the "decision is the result of an ongoing review" of the store.
The effective closing date is April 24, officials say.
Officials say, "It's never easy to close a store, however, we feel this is a necessary business decision."
This comes almost two years after JC Penney at the Washington Park Mall in Bartlesville closed its doors.
