TULSA – Investigators located items used in creating meth labs in the back of a vehicle as a result of a wreck.
Tulsa police say Joseph Houk was northbound on 2100 S. Memorial Drive when he attempted to use a Taser to harm a passenger in his vehicle, who was also described as the mother of his children. The domestic disturbance caused Houk to jump the median and hit a car southbound.
Police say Houk attempted to flee from the scene but was taken into custody just a short distance away.
Through the investigation, dangerous substances and components used to make a meth lab were discovered in the back of the vehicle.
Houlk was arrested on complaint of domestic assault with a dangerous weapon, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony, reckless driving and no insurance.
The victim of the assault was transported to a nearby hospital for a minor injury, as was the driver of the second vehicle.
