CHEROKEE COUNTY, Okla. -- Investigators say remains found in Cherokee County are believed to be tied to a missing man.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Department says the remains of Roger Quinn were possibly found Saturday night about a mile away from where Quinn's backpack was found.
Investigators believe the remains are Quinn because of the location they were found and some tattoos.
The remains were sent to the Medical Examiner's Office for identification.
Anyone with information about Quinn is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 918-456-2583.
