OTTAWA COUNTY, Okla. — An investigation is underway following a drowning in Ottawa County.
Officers began searching the Neosho River Sunday morning following reports of car landing in the water.
A woman inside the vehicle was rescued from the water before officers arrived and rushed to a hospital in Miami.
Hours later police recovered the body of a man they think may have gone into the water to save the woman.
