A Tulsa school went on lockdown Wednesday afternoon after sources tell 2 Works for You an off-duty Tulsa Police officer demanded to see the toddlers.
The school - not on lockdown for long - police quickly responded to the scene.
The school said they followed protocol and locked the doors.
In a statement to 2 Works for You - CAP Tulsa - said: "As soon as we felt the person's presence was unusual - we called 911."
Tulsa police told the school they're investigating the situation.
2 Works for You reached out to TPD and they confirmed they are actively working an internal affairs investigation -- and they cannot say anything else.
Sources at the school said they gave statements to law enforcement and police wanted to speak to all teachers who came in contact with the man.
Some teachers said the off-duty officer who came into the building - isn't assigned to their patrol area anymore.
And the officer became very rude when the school went on lockdown, teachers said.
