TULSA – The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says an inmate that escaped from jail Thursday morning has been apprehended and is back in the Tulsa County jail.
Officials say that inmate Henry Givens, 48, was taking the trash out to the dumpster near the loading dock when he ran off. The incident occurred around 8 a.m., reports TCSO.
Once Givens was on the loose, deputies say they believe he ditched his orange inmate pants for some tan shorts in order to conceal his identity. Right now, they're not sure whether givens had help getting away from deputies.

“You never know with a desperate person. We do consider anyone who's willing to take off from a supervised facility as dangerous. We don't have any suspicion at this time that he's armed, but we do consider him dangerous," said Deputy Justin Green.
Documents show Givens was most recently arrested for petit larceny, trespassing and obstructing justice.He was serving a six month sentence.
Givens is now facing an additional charge of escaping from a detention facility on a $50,000 bond.
