LEFLORE COUNTY, Okla. - The inmate who recently escape from DOC custody Thursday evening has been recaptured.
The DOC reports that Brian McMahan was reported missing sometime around 6 p.m. but was later recaptured Friday morning.
McMahan was found around three miles from the facility near a highway, reports the DOC. He was recaptured by DOC K9 units and the LeFlore County sheriff.
Now McMahan is being assessed to determine if he should require higher security, reports DOC.
