Hurts Donuts donates money to local military organization for National Donut Day

TULSA -- Hurts Donut is celebrating National Donut Day by donating ten percent of today's proceeds to a local military organization.

The downtown Tulsa location chose The Barracks based out of Muskogee. It's a temporary housing facility for veterans and provides resources to help them get back on their feet.

The 18 Hurts Donut stores nationwide each chose a local military organization to donate money to for National Donut Day.

The Norman location picked "The FEW" which is the Foundation for Exceptional Warriors based out of Bixby.

Ten percent of sales from Friday at midnight, to Saturday at midnight goes to those military organizations.
