TULSA - Five pets were killed and two firefighters injured after a house fire in west Tulsa.

The fire broke out near 33rd West Avenue and Easton. Fire officials say the home is a total loss.

All those inside the home made it out safely, but two firefighters were injured when a window broke and wind forced flames through the home.

One firefighter had steam burns, the other was treated for dehydration. It is unclear what caused the fire at this time.

The family who lived in the home say they believe the fire may have been started by a child.
