TALALA, Okla. — Officials with the Northwest Rogers County Fire Protection District say they received a house fire call around 10:40 p.m., Monday night.

Officials say they believe the house fire, located in the area of East 340 and South 4120 Road, which is just east of Talala, was possibly caused by lightning from Monday night's storms.

Officials say that two adults escaped with only their pets, but none of their belongings.

A second alarm was put out, calling in all off-duty firefighters and mutual aid.

Officials say Collinsville city, Collinsville rural, and Nowata responded to the second alarm.
