Well, there is such a thing as hot dog etiquette, and an apparent right and wrong way to eat them.
The "National Hot Dog and Sausage Council" says do and do not do the following things:
They say don't put toppings between the hot dog and bun, and that you should dress the dog not the bun.
Don't use utensils -- eat the hot dog with your hands, the council says, and also don't use fine china.
And there is apparently a right and wrong condiment.
You shouldn't use ketchup after the age of 18.
Mustard, relish, onions, cheese and chili are all acceptable.
How do you take your hot dog?
