HOMINY — The Hominy Fire Department made history when they announced they've hired a woman as their first-ever paid full-time female firefighter.
Tiara Ford made the job from a volunteer to full-time as she began her first day on the job Tuesday, the department announced on their Facebook page.
Ford was also the first-ever woman volunteer firefighter for the department.
