Holiday parades happening across Green Country

TULSA, Okla. — Not even a pandemic can dampen the holiday spirit in Green Country.

This season, several cities across northeastern Oklahoma are hosting holiday parades with some modifications to keep participants and attendees safe.

So, if you're looking for festive live music, colorful bright lights or even a rare sighting of jolly ol' Saint Nick, then you're in luck.

Check out the list of parades currently scheduled to happen below.

Bartlesville Christmas Parade

The Bartlesville Christmas Parade, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Bartlesville, takes place Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Bixby Christmas Parade

The Rotary Club of Bixby is hosting “An American Christmas” themed parade this year.

It will be held Friday, Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m. Click here to fill out an entry form.

Catoosa Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade

The 55th Annual Catoosa Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is presenting a "12 Days of Christmas" themed event.

It takes place Saturday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. Click here to register.

Claremore Christmas Parade

The Claremore Christmas Parade is hosting a drive-through event on the campus of Rogers State University.

Organizers said there will be stationary floats or displays set up as spectators drive through campus. This year's parade theme is "Celebrating Our Hometown Heroes."

The parade takes place on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 5:30 p.m.

Okmulgee Festival of Lights Parade

The annual Festival of Lights Parade is hosting "A Christmas of Hope" themed parade this year in downtown Okmulgee.

The parade will be held Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. Click here to fill out an entry form.

Tahlequah Christmas Parade

For the first time ever, the Wagoner Area Chamber of Commere is hosting a drive-through Christmas parade.

This year's theme is "Home for the Holidays." Click here to register.

Tulsa Christmas Parade

The 94th annual Tulsa Christmas Parade, presented by American Waste Control, is hosting a drive-through experience for parade-goers.

Organizers said this year's parade theme is "A Christmas Joyride."

The parade is set to take place in downtown Tulsa on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Wagoner Christmas Parade

The Wagoner Area Chamber of Commere is holding the Christmas Parade in right in the heart of downtown Wagoner.

Organizers said the family-friendly event is going to feature bands, floats, music, lights for attendees.
