TULSA - An accident caused delays near Pine Street and the LL Tisdale Expressway early Monday morning.
Police are investigating a hit and run involving a motorcycle. Witnesses tell police the rider was driving Northbound on the LL Tisdale when he drove into the back of a car.
The crash threw the rider from his bike. The other vehicle drove away.
EMSA took the man to the hospital in critical but stable condition. Police believe the motorcycle was driving at 100 miles per hour.
Tulsa Police say the only reason the driver of the motorcycle didn't die immediately is because he was wearing a helmet.
The road reopened shortly after 7 Monday morning.
