OKMULGEE CO.--Highway 266 near Bartlett Road was blocked in Okmulgee County for a time on Tuesday as Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a person with a hostage and a gun. 

Police have arrested one in connection with the situation.  

Several agencies responded including Okmulgee County Sheriff and Henryetta Police Department. 

Highway 266 just east of Dewar was blocked for a mile on either side of Bartlett Road as officials responded to the situation. 

The highway is now re-opened.

No word of injuries.
