Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be possible starting Thursday night into this weekend. Heavy rain will be possible with flash flooding potentially becoming an issue by Saturday.
Several storm systems will be moving through the area over the next several days, which is very uncommon for August. With ample moisture in place and several storm systems moving through the area, there will be occasionally heavy rainfall.
Most of the grounds are rather saturated, so any prolonged period of heavy rain will lead to flash flooding and general flooding.
Most areas will receive between 1"-3" of rainfall, with a few spots picking up as much as 3"-6" of rain before drier air moves into the area early Monday.
