SALLISAW, Okla. -- Crews are working to clean up a derailed train in Sequoyah County.
The county's emergency management director said the 10-car Union Pacific train derailed Sunday morning between Sallisaw and Gans.
He said they evacuated a quarter-mile around the tracks due to the hazardous cargo of liquid propane gas that it was carrying.
He, however, said crews are "confident" there are no leaks.
Two engineers were on the train when it derailed, though there are no reports of any injuries. Police are investigating what happened.
