In tonight's Health News 2 Use, Health experts say doctors should begin screening for drug use.
The US Preventive Services Task Force recommends screening their adult patients for illegal drug use, including abuse of prescription medication.
This is the first time the task force is making this recommendation.
The screening would involve asking questions about drug use as well as frequency of use, and can be done in the exam room or on routine forms.
