NOWATA CO.--Two people are dead after a collision in Nowata County. It happened on US 169 near County Road 17 late Monday night.
Authorities say 41-year-old Matthew A. Ray was traveling southbound when the pickup he was driving crossed the center line and collided head-on with the car driven by 37-year-old Barbara Stewart, who was driving northbound.
Delaware Fire Department and Nowata County authorities responded. Both drivers were pronounced dead on scene.
