Group to hold ‘Police Lives Matter Too' protest at Tulsa County courthouse on September 27, 2016

TULSA – A “Police Lives Matter Too” protest is scheduled to be held Tuesday in downtown Tulsa following the fatal shooting of Terence Crutcher by a Tulsa police officer.

The protest will start at 1 p.m. at the Tulsa County courthouse, says the group that organized the protest: “Law Enforcement and Supporters for Media Accountability.”

Crutcher, 40, died after being shot by Tulsa Police Officer Betty Shelby on September 16. 

Shelby was charged with first degree manslaughter and surrendered early Friday morning. She was released on $50,000 bond.
