UNION PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Since March 23, Union Public Schools has served over 430,000 curbside free meals since the state's schools closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Beginning on Monday, May 18, Union Public Schools will change to serving meals during the summer on Mondays through Thursday, with "double meals" being served on Thursdays to make up for no meals being distributed on Fridays, officials say.

“Union will provide each child two meals, breakfast and lunch, which will be available for free drive-through pick up for any children,” Griffin said. “Children do not have to be currently enrolled at Union Public Schools.”

Officials say the summer meals, free breakfast and lunch, will continue to be “grab and go."

Staff will serve drive through lines from 9:30 a.m. until 11: 30 a.m., Mondays through Thursdays.
