OKLAHOMA CITY — An Oklahoma homeowner's dog saves the day following a home invasion, according to KFOR in Oklahoma City.

This happened earlier this week in Oklahoma City, where police say the suspect entered the woman's home unannounced.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking into the house and actually petting the dog before walking further down the hallway.

Moments later, the woman noticed the man inside the house and screamed, prompting her great dane to attack.

"I looked up and came face to face with a stranger," the homeowner says.

"The instant that I screamed, Dubai understood that that person was not welcome here."

The woman says she watched as the suspect ran away only to come back moments later in the back of a patrol car so she could identify him for police.
