TULSA — GoFundMe accounts have been set up for the family of a five-year-old boy who was killed Tuesday night in a hit-and-run crash near the Gathering Place.
Police said the child, Caiden Reyes-Ortiz, and his mother were riding a rented scooter southbound in the outside, northbound lanes of Riverside Drive when they were struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene.
Police named Renier S. Davison, 25, as a person of interest and he turned himself in on Wednesday morning, police said. The man faces a count of felony hit-and-run.
Police said Davison admitted to driving the suspected vehicle during the crash. His driver's license was also suspended out of Missouri, police said.
Two GoFundMe Accounts have been set up for the family affected by the crash.
