TULSA — Didn't get any Girl Scout cookies this year? Well, you are in luck!
The Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma are hosting a drive-thru cookie sale event.
This year's cookie sales were cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, and girl scouts have nearly 12,000 boxes left. The drive-thru cookie sales will allow the organization to subsidize programs and offer membership assistance.
With so many families being affected by COVID we know the financial impact and assistance for the girls and their families will increase. Our troops are like family and we want to ensure all girls are able to participate and continue to be involved without financial constraint.
The drive-thru cookie sales event will be take place at two locations:
- KingsPointe Village at 61st and Yale
- Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma - Hardesty Leadership Center at 4810 S 129th East Avenue, Tulsa (51st and 129th)
Girl Scout representatives will take orders in a drive-thru form. Customers don't have to exit their vehicle.
All representatives have PPE masks and gloves to provide safe pickup.
All cookies are being sold for $5 each. Customers can pay in cash, check or credit card, official said.
The drive-thru event is being held on July 17 and 18, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
