TULSA, Okla. — Gilcrease Museum will reopen to members on a modified basis beginning July 22 and then the public on July 29, according to a news release.
The museum closed March 17 when Mayor G.T. Bynum signed a safer at home executive order for the city of Tulsa.
Gilcrease Museum said it will reopen with updated cleaning protocols and policies that meet CDC guidelines.
As we look forward to welcoming visitors back to the museum, both visitor and staff safety remain our top priority. All guests will be required to wear face masks, maintain social distancing and reserve tickets on line. Timed ticketing to limit the number of guests to 50 visitors per hour as well as managing the number of people in any gallery are just a few of the many measures that we are taking to provide a quality museum experience.
The museum's modified hours are Wednesday 11 - 4 p.m., Thursday noon - 8 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, 11 - 4 p.m.
