TULSA -- Police are investigating after a getaway driver was shot in east Tulsa Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the call around 12:40 Saturday morning on 31st Street and 145th East Avenue.
The homeowner told police he was playing pool with friends when he heard loud banging on the door. The man answered the door with a pistol in his hand.
When the suspect saw the gun, he ran to the street, pulled out a pistol, and began shooting at the homeowner.
The homeowner fired back hitting Kelsie Lipp, the driver of the suspect. Lipp was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.
