In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the park opening, officials with the Gathering Place dedicated a time capsule on Monday.
Community representatives contributed items of significance to the capsule.
Some of the items include a key to the city by Tulsa Mayor GT Bynum, a painting from Gathering Place Ambassador, Juan Miret and an eagle feather used in the Ponka Pow Wow that is more than 100 years old.
Officials say the time capsule will be opened by the next generation of Tulsans and park guests in the year 2069.
