TULSA — Gathering Place lays off 20 percent of their 106 furloughed employees.

Officials released a statement on Friday, saying the difficult decision was made due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the lasting impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to make a very difficult decision concerning our furloughed employees. Of our 106 furloughed employees, 20% were unfortunately laid off today.

We are devastated by these circumstances and look forward to a time when we will again be able to return to a fully staffed Park and welcome large social gatherings.
