The town of Moffett was nearly wiped out after recent floods - and they're still cleaning up more than a month later.

At the school - floodwater destroyed everything it touched - such as books and computers.

So to make some money to get the school ready for next year - teachers took over the Dairy Freeze across the state line in Fort Smith - filling in as carhops.

All the tips they earned will go toward the schools - along with 75 percent of the profits.

We're told they earned nearly $3,000.

School officials say their first day of classes is August 7.

Students and teachers believe they will have everything ready in time.
