Friends and family search for missing newlyweds in Bahamas

What was supposed to be a dream romantic wedding is now a nightmare for family and friends. Tahlequah natives Forrest and Donna Sanco went missing during their wedding trip to the Bahamas.
"My biggest fear is that we'll never know…never be found never know anything," said Jason Fox, family friend.

Friends and family last saw the couple two weeks ago when the couple took off from north Texas. Forrest is a pilot and bought the plane just for the wedding trip. The Sancos e-mailed during their flights, all the way to their first stop in the Bahamas.
"This was my last correspondence," Fox said.
Friends are now turning into investigators, hiring private search parties as, they say, they aren’t receiving help from the Bahamian government.
Friends say that the Coast Guard is strapped with limited resources because of the hurricane relief efforts.

The Bahamian police force said they are broke because of funding. Donations are funding the search effort. Friends say they are holding out hope. On Thursday family members are flying to the Bahamas to get the embassy to help.

Go Fund Me account has been set up to help pay for the private search.
