Free resources for expecting mothers

OSU Medical hosted the Labor of Love event, this is an event helping expecting mothers in need.

Emily Kimbrough recently moved to Tulsa with two little girls and a little boy on the way.

She tells us, "Bringing a baby into the world changes everything.”

The event was full of helpful resources and described as a one-stop-shop for expecting mothers.

A team of OBGYNs, Midwives, cloth diapering services, free ultra sounds, and holistic health doctors are just a few of the resources provided during this event.

An event like this is very important due to the fact that not all mothers have the resources or money to prepare for child birth.

Shaun Baranowski, APRN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Midwife, tells us, “We provide care for all women. It doesn’t matter what kind of insurance you have and if you don’t have insurance we can help you figure out your best route to get that care that you definitely need for prenatal care.”
