Four Oklahoma bear cubs are being researched in the wild.

The wildlife department tracked down a new momma bear in southeastern Oklahoma.

Once they tranquilized her, they microchipped the cubs and returned them to their den.

The department has been partnering with Oklahoma State University to study black bears in the state since 2001.
