Two former Washington County volunteer firefighters have been charged with arson.

According to court documents, Hunter Martin and Patrick Bradley claim the other set paper on fire and dropped on the ground in February in the areas of N 4020 and W 1800 Road, W 1800 Road and N 4000 R, and N 4000 Road and W 1900 Road.

Both Martin and Bradley admitted involvement in all three fires, but Bradley claimed he didn't light anything, the affidavit stated.

The affidavit stated both Martin and Bradley admitted the fires were started with paper or a paper-like substance.

It's unclear how much grass was burned.
