TULSA — With just a little less than a year away from the 2020 summer Olympic Games, a decorated former U.S. sprinter stopped by the 2 Works for You studio to help ring in the Olympic season.

In the time since she ran for her country, Olympic gold medalist Madeline Manning Mims has been helping other Olympians realize their dreams over the last 30 years.

"I realized I need to pass the batton on," said Mims. "So, I started an academic program to train Olympians and Paralympians how to become chaplains and go back into their sport and serve as chaplains to athletes and the coaches."

Mims participated in the summer games in the 1968, 1972 and 1976 Olympics.
