TULSA — As the Coronavirus continues to infect thousands around the world, a former Tulsa teacher is back in Green Country this morning after returning from China.
Cathy Essley says she was placed in quarantine when she arrived back in Oklahoma on Feb. 14.
Essley tells us when she arrived, the Tulsa Health Department explained she'd be quarantined at her home until February 29.
Essley is originally from Tulsa and is currently on a leave of absence form Tulsa Public Schools after leaving to teach in Beijing back in 2018.
