Current Texas Rangers catcher and former ORU baseball star Jose Trevino is using his platform to bring joy to others during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last week, Trevino popped into a Abilene, Texas nursing home via video conference and played BINGO, along with a few other games with residents. Trevino also says he has been doing contests on his Instagram page where he will invite young fans to join him live to ask him questions and talk about life.
Last year in his first full season in the majors, the former Golden Eagle hit .258 in 128 at-bats, hitting two home runs and driving in 16 RBI.
