MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla. – A former Muskogee County detention officer will now spend 10 years behind bars for allegedly having a sexual encounter with an inmate.
According to Muskogee County authorities, Harold Shinn plead guilty to second degree rape.
The Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office says Shinn admitted to having an improper sexual encounter with a female inmate in June 2015.
Authorities say he will face five years of probation following his time spent in prison.
