TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Fire Department is honoring five young people who saved a woman from a burning home.
The department says they noticed smoke and jumped into action, kicking in the doors, and then they searched the home and rescued the woman.
Officials say Deputy Chief Chuck French will be presenting the five citizens with a proclamation for their bravery and quick action that led to saving a life.
The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m.
