Five NSU students who were killed in a crash near Tahlequah are being laid to rest

Two of the five college students who were killed in the crash near Tahlequah on Sunday night are being laid to rest on Thursday.

Friends and family of Jessica "Jessie" Swartwout and Lily Murphy are celebrating their lives.

Swartwout graduated from Indianola High School as valedictorian of her class. Murphy graduated from Gentry High School where she was a cheerleader. 

Swartwout's funeral service is being held at 2 p.m. at the Indianola School gym, following by her burial at Shady Grove Cemetery in McAlester.

Murphy will be laid to rest at Gentry Cemetery in Arkansas this afternoon.

The other three crash victims Drake Wells, Donovan Caldwell and Autumn Seely will be laid to rest this weekend.

They had all started their freshman year at Northeastern State University.
