TULSA, Okla. — The 2020 FIRST Robotics build season kicked off on Saturday, January 4 at more than 140 locations.
This year's robotics challenge theme is Star Wars.
More than 4,000 teams from 35 countries are competing in the upcoming challenge in the spring. This includes about 800 students from high schools across Oklahoma.
The teams of students have six weeks to "design, build and program industrial-sized robots."
The Green Country Regional competition will be held from April 1 to April 4.
