STILLWATER, Okla. – This year’s Oklahoma State homecoming parade will have a group of first responders who helped those involved in the previous year’s tragic incident.
Four people died and more than 40 were injured during the 2015 homecoming parade after a vehicle plowed into a crowd of onlookers.

This year the parade will be on October 29 and start around 9 a.m. According to the OSU Alumni Association, there will be a spot near the judges for survivors and victims’ families to watch the parade.
"Members of nine organizations who came to the aid of the Cowboy Family last year and continue to serve our communities will lead the 2016 Sea of Orange Parade and be recognized at the football game," posted the OSU Alumni Association on Facebook.
