TULSA, Okla. — Firefighters are investigating a house fire in midtown Tulsa, according to the Tulsa Fire Department.
Crews responded to the scene near South Sheridan Road and East 8th Street.
Five people were home at the time of the fire, but no one was harmed, officials said.
However, two cats died in the fire, officials said. They also say one dog had smoke inhalation, but was treated with oxygen at the scene and is expected to be fine. There was another dog in the backyard that also survived.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
