SKIATOOK, Okla. – Firefighters struggled to battle strong winds after a fire erupted in Osage County Monday.
Fire crews were called to Ranch Land Road in Osage County to battle a fire where, ultimately, one firefighter was injured. Fire officials say the firefighter was sent to the hospital and is recovering from burns on his knee.
Officials say the fire charred nearly 500 acres of land near Highway 20 and Ranchland Road in Osage County.
