Tulsa firefighters responded to a small fire at Woodland Hills Mall, Monday evening.
Fire officials say the burn was contained to a sublevel of the mall by automatic sprinklers. The excess of water caused a few inches to flood the area near the south entrance of JC Penney.
There were no injuries and the mall remained open to customers.
Woodland Hills Mall Manager Scott Budge released the following statement:
"We are thankful for the swift response of the Tulsa Fire Department, who quickly extinguished the small fire located in a back tenant corridor. There were no injuries associated with this incident and business was not interrupted."
Fire investigators are on the scene working to find a source for this burn.
