Fire tears through duplex in east Tulsa

TULSA — Tulsa fire crews responded to a quadplex on fire in east Tulsa this morning.

Officials said they received a 911 call at about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday in the area of I-44 and Highway 169.

A woman said she noticed flames in her bathroom vent.

The home where the fire started has significant damage. The other three have smoke damage.

No injuries were reported.

At least one family is displaced.

Officials said the flames were shooting about five to 10 feet in the air.

The fire has since been contained.
